About
Electronics repair taught me how machines fail. Now I build the firmware that keeps them from failing quietly.

The pivot
Gauss Industries grew out of years on the bench in electronics repair — diagnosing, reworking, and bringing dead hardware back to life across countless makes and models.
That work built an instinct for how real systems behave under stress: where they break, why they break, and what separates a design that fails safe from one that fails silently.
Today the focus is firmware and control systems — Rust-first embedded engineering for machinery that has to be reliable, observable, and honest about its own state. Same rigor, new layer of the stack.
How I work
No black boxes
Source, tests, and process notes handed over in full.
Fail-safe first
Safety supervisors and interlocks, not afterthoughts.
Observable by default
If it runs, you can see what it's doing.
No lock-in
Your IP, your repo, documented for the next engineer.
